The Switch One comes loaded with the 32-bit version of Windows 10 Home. The built-in WLAN module contains a Realtek chip (RTL8723BS) that supports the WLAN standards 802.11b/g/n, but not the fast ac standard. Acer chose to leave out the newer USB 3.0 technology. The keyboard dock is outfitted with another USB 2.0 connection (Type A). The tablet component houses both a micro HDMI port and a micro USB (2.0) port.
The device comes with the usual array of connections. The keyboard dock is a different story: we were able to bend and twist it easily. The tablet component proved exceptionally stable and hardly twistable. In the area of manufacturing, the convertible laptop revealed no weaknesses. Only the backside of the tablet consists of brushed metal.
